MY DOG CHEWED MY XBOX CABLE
There are days when kicking he dog might be justified and today is it. At least they sell the replacement.

A good cable to come with the Xbox
This cable comes with your Xbox when you buy it. Its a good all-around cable. But you can make the graphics much more crisp and clear with a Monster Cable(if you don’t mind spending a good amount of money for a cable). Anyway, this cable is a good cable to come with the Xbox.

Its not too bad
In my opinion the cord itself is not that bad, but is definitely overpriced. If your going to buy an av cable, treat yourself for an extra (price) and get a top of the line Monster Cable.

Worst Cable Ever!
This is the cable that comes with every new X-Box. Whoever designed this cable should be beaten with a large bag of Swedish Fish. I guess they failed to realize that some people would like to connect the Video (yellow) cable to their Television and the Audio (Red and White) to their stereo/surround receiver. Too bad the 3 plugs are fused together leaving about 2 inches to spare between each one. With all the time spent designing this console, you would think SOMEONE would realize it’s not a good idea to force the plugs together.

I would seriously give this cable a Zero star if it would let me. Now I am forced into buying the (…) advanced A/V pack just so I can hook up the console properly.

    Customer Reviews:
There’s a new saw in town.
After reading the reviews of the DW718, I was compelled to write one of my own. Here goes.

First off, Dewalt made a huge mistake by lowering the quality of their “new” tools. I must agree with all the previous reviews of 3 stars or lower. I owned the DW 708 for quite some time before upgrading to the new version. Bad idea. The 708 was a much better saw. The 718, to me, is not very user friendly. The only thing Dewalt should have done to the 708 saw was to add a stronger motor and a cool feature. (laser, lights, etc. )

I was pretty disgusted with my 718 so I sold it on Craigslists and bought a new Milwaukee 12″ Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw. This saw ROCKS!!!!! Check it out before buying a DW 718. Don’t get me wrong, I am not writing this review to bash Dewalt. Dewalt accounts for about 60% of my tools that I use everyday. Dewalt definitely dropped the ball when they redesigned the DW 718. If you are a die hard Dewalt user, look for the older version (DW 708) on sale somewhere.

    Thanks,

Great saw for all my needs
I bought this saw as a gift for myself for Father’s Day. (a bit early, so I waited until after Father’s Day to post my review)

This saw is everything I hoped it would be for my use. Every cut I’ve wanted to make has been exactly how I expected it to turn out. I’m only a homeowner and use the saw for my own projects; I’m not using it professionally in any way. When I first got the saw, I tested most all of the complaints I’ve read in earlier reviews. I could not duplicate or substatiate any of them. My saw cuts accurately, repeatably, and puts the sawdust into my vacumme as good as any other saw of this type I’ve ever used. (Just completed building a log-hybrid home and while I hired a general contractor, I was on the jobsite everyday and used many of their tools to do quite a bit of production cutting as well as finish cutting. I am familiar with compound sliding miter saws.)

I sure wish the stand had wheels on it to move around a little easiler though. But that’s for another review. The saw is safe and I think a bit quieter than other brands I’ve used.

    Get it, you’ll like it
You will wonder what you did without it. Much heavier than the $100 cheapo that I used for twenty years, this one should outlive several generations and may last in to the 22nd century.

    Lacks power
I have used the Dewalt miter saw for years and thought I would try the dual bevel sliding model. It seems to lack the power of the older regular miter saw.

    Good job Dewalt!
I really enjoy this saw! After reading some of the negative reviews I was a little worried about the saw being accurate. Right out of the box I checked its accuracy, It was Dead on! I really have only been useing this saw for Fencing, Decking and some framing. I look forward to doing some finish work.

One feature that I really like is that when you begin your cut you don’t even feel the guard action. I looked at the Ridgid and Makita, both of those had a little resistance when you began your cut.

This saw also turns really smoothly.

I was wondering why some people critized this saw for producing dust when cutting, I think that its no worse then any others I have used.

I also heard that this saw was underpowered. I strongly disagree. I have been cutting all sorts of very wet 4×4’s and 2×4 and 2×6’s. This saw spins a little slower then others to give it plenty of power!

One user complained that the 2 sliding rails were smaller than others. I would probably not just talk about size here, but what material surround the sliding action, and what material the bars themselves are made of.

The only critism that I have us that its pretty heavy and big to move around. Although if I wanted a smaller portable one, I would not have bought this saw.

This is probably the most expensive tool I have ever bought, but I have not been disapointed! Good job Dewalt!

    Great transaction!
This transaction went really well. My son needed this in a hurry and the seller was very accommodating and got it to us immediately. A pleasure to do business with. Thanks.

way better than TI-83, so far
I find that the Casio CFX 9850GB actually is much easier to use than the TI-83. It shows more detail not only because of the color, but I find it doing stuff that the TI does not(like showing a “hole” in the graph). Also, I find that when I want it to find min and max, I don’t have to set boundaries, I just push a button. I’m in precalc and have never used a graphing calculator before so I read the manual like another required text. The manual is easy to follow. I’m afraid I have little use of the TI, the Casio takes me to the answer quicker.

    GREAT CALCULATOR!!!
I was thinking of getting a TI-83 plus but this cost less does more and has color.

    Great Calculator
I own this calculator and I LOVE IT. It is particularly useful for performing statistical calculations, of which I do many. The only thing I would change is the color scheme of the calculator itself (and perhaps add just a few more advanced statistical functions).

    Excellent purchase
Very good price and a proper calculator for my kids as a compulsory tool to be used for the International Baccalaureate.

Don’t Listen To The Conspiracy Nuts!
This is a great program. It explains in purely technical terms what happened to the buildings and why on 9/11. Sometimes the only way to come at such an enormous tragedy is to take just one piece of it. In its own oblique, indirect way, this is one of the most poignant documents I’ve ever seen about that fateful day. By leaving emotion out of it, it actually invites more emotion. The interview with the building’s architect is the perfect example - he does not break down, or play for our sympathy, but you can see in his eyes that he will be haunted by his decisions for the rest of his days. Like all such things, it’s easy to see now with 20/20 hindsight all the factors that created disaster.

The people on here slamming this and going on about their “research” (yeah right) are, I’m guessing, part of the growing number of idiots who have decided to take this terrible event and twist it into a ridiculous conspiracy. This really bothers me, and I’m as left-wing liberal anti-George Bush as they come. These people are just sad. The pancaking of the floors is not a “theory”, it’s a fact we all saw with our own eyes in real time. Don’t let these people start doing to 9/11, what the holocaust deniers are still doing sixty years on. It’s an insult to the dead. Not to mention to our collective intelligence.

In the meantime, if you want to see an excellent documentary breaking down EXACTLY what happened moment by moment, this is the film for you. Personally, it’s the only 9/11 doc I want to own. Something about this dispassionate examination of the collapse I find almost as heartbreaking as the sheer loss of life. Let’s face it, we mourn those buildings as well as the victims. It’s also just good solid HISTORY with a capital H. Ignore the idiots.

    Plausible
It is interesting to note that the reviewers here rebuking this film are not experts in anything other than their own histrionics and moronic conspiracy theories. NOVA does a good job here.

    PLEASE!
I watched this movie when I was just starting to research 9/11 and it answered NO questions of why the buildings fell. It gave a bunch of theories and almost everyone interviewed were shocked themselves that the buildings fell and voiced that opinion frequently.

The people that produced this documentary are traitors to America.

    INVESTIGATE 9/11!!!

    Grifters
The value of this NOVA cover up is the connection to the web of lies perpetrated by the US government.

No steel building ever have fallen, on that day 3 fell…all defying the laws of physics.

It is often noted that building 7 was “pulled”…what is not noted is there were already explosives in place.

It’s time to jail those responsible….none will be Arabs NOVA should be ashamed to try and foist this …a piece of the cover up

    Pathtic
its is all a lie. If the pancake theroy was a fact then how come the engineers of the buidings said it wasn’t. Look i the building fell in free fall it must have been demolition. Because

building don’t fall like that. 23 fire fighetrs said they head a exploson 5 seconds before the south and north tower fell. And the pancake thery has happend to a few bulings in the world and it was real slow about 1 minute for a 23 storie building to fall. Plus FEMA sucks they didn’t know wtc 7 fell and Larry Stilverstine admitted he blew up wtc 7 because it had too many fires face it it was a scam the the towes fell chaching larry wanted 7 billion dollar and Predient bush 1 billion……. i know alot about buildng and if wana see the truth wath loose change 2

    Works fine for recording lectures
I have a colour iPdod the one without the videos. I bought this to record lectures in class. And i works just fine. Only sometimes when the professor is speaking in a very low voice does it falter. Otherwise perfect for the job.

This item does not work for 2 GB Ipods
I spent quite a lot of time trying to figure out if this worked for a 2 GB Ipod as it was not very clear. At the end i had the feeling it did but it does not. I am now stuck with something I cannot use because it was not clearly indicated. I am not the first one apparently so I wonder why Amazon keeps not informating clearly its customers and I am quite unpleased with Amazon and Belkin :(

as they don’t seem inclined to do anything to compensate my loss and their lack of useful information.

PS: the rate this item system should include a not recommended at all

    Go Digital!
This is a fabulous product for digital recording. I am a Ph.D. student who needed a way to record interviews for qualitative research. Not only does the product work efficiently, it is small and easy to use. I am not a fan of having to read directions - with my iPod, this was simple and made my transibing much easier with the help of placing the interview into iTunes and playing it with software that allowed me to play back the interview with varying speed. High recommendations for this product.

    Its fine-for photo iPods
You know, its small and efficient.

    What more do you need?

    I love it.

Falsely advertised compatability with 80 iPod
the advertisement stated that this mic would be compatable with the newest iPod. It isn’t! Don’t buy if you have the newest version of the iPod. The mic has an extra little part that prevents it from connecting fully to the iPod.
