This is old-skool gshock. Plain and simple watch, no BS. It feels very comfortable and secure. Unlike my rolex I never have to worry about getting robbed anymore. I also bought a pathfinder which really isnt suitable for daily activities while the gshock is perfect.
My First G-Shock
I love the watch! The blue backlight is perfect in dark areas like camping tent or a totally dark bedroom. You can really see the display on the watch. It has a tight push buttons indicating excellent water-tight sealing. It feels it is a tough watch. It is not big for my small wrist but I wish it was a bit thinner for better handling. I can’t wait to go fishing and camping with it. I am happy with this purchase, no complaint.

This is a lot of watch for the money. Nowadays for $40
you can’t even buy a decent strap. It has the classic look of first G-Shock of 1983. It is not outrageously big like some current models. DW5600E is tough as nail but beautiful. The best affordable digital watch indeed.

Great Running and Alarm Watch
This is a great watch for running and other sports that also serves as a travel alarm clock. I have just bought my third, the first two having lasted 13 and 14 years respectively.
