No automatic update 
A good external storage device, but you may find that the automatic update of your files does not work.
Seagate FreeAgent 250 GB USB Drive 
This drive is great. Small, light and 1-cord. Onboard software allows autobackup of your files. Fast search and copy speeds also. I should have bought two during Amazon’s special sale; home and office. Only downside is cord is short but it’s really not a major issue.
dead on arrival 
i took this drive to thailand to back up photos. when i got there it worked for one day and died. piece of junk.
Works but gives me lots of problems 
I spent a bit more to go with Seagate and now regret it. The drive seems to have a lot of problems. If the light is on it fails. It only works in certain USB ports. I got a blue screen the other day because of this drive. Buy something else
Excellent Value
This product works as well as other adapters that are over ten times as high in price. At this time, this may be the best value out there.
