And here I was looking for REAL cheese…
Troma Team. Makers of such classics as Rabid Grannies, Redneck Zombies, Toxic Avenger, Teenage Catgirls in Heat, and Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD. I went to the video store looking for another mindbogglingly cheesy horror film to get drunk in front of and laugh uproariously at. Given the title, I thought I’d found it. But there Troma Team has gone and done a good film, with only subtle cheese, and a groovy plot. Liken it to artificial cheese which comes in the same package but really is about as much like cheese as Christopher Walken is to Marvin the Martian. I feel betrayed. I was duped! I am CALLING the AUTHORITIES. Hmph.
Scathingly brilliant independant film with the right touch
Filthy rich snobs become overly involved in dangerous theatrical plays and games until they are unable to trust each other. Outrageously entertaining independant film from TROMA (dismissing their reputation) with a non-stop barrage of twists, jokes, and visual gags. Excellent surprise ending too.
